Dean is a second-year MFA candidate in Lighting Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film. With over a decade of experience in the world of theatre, Dean has worked in a variety of roles, including lighting design, sound design, and directing, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the creative process. His passion for design is matched only by his commitment to education. Dean is deeply invested in mentoring and inspiring the next generation of theatre students, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the craft. Whether behind the scenes or in the classroom, he strives to create experiences that elevate the art form and foster a collaborative, innovative environment for his peers and students alike.
